Is it a new a feature or are new books uploaded to the IA automatically added to the Openlibrary? Today, I have added several books to the IA and thought I would create posts for them on the OL only to discover that a new record had just been created on OL. Cool!

For example:

https://archive.org/details/SkrifterTillUppbyggelseFranMedeltid (created a few hours ago)

is referenced here:

Problem is, there are a few hiccups:

- the OL is not as it should (the editor should be referenced as such, both the city and the publishing house appear in a field where only the publishing house should be mentioned, the language is not specified, etc.;

- The date is completely wrong. The record was created today but the record shows "Created January 1, 2012" at the bottom while at the top right corner it says "Last edited anonymously January 1, 2010"!

- Worst of all, the record is read only!...

I reckon that the automatic creation on OL is great time saver but wouldn't it be better to be able to edit the posts on OL?

we've been creating read only pages on the fly for some time now.
